Plant Father or mother
All my crops appear to be affected by this factor and I’m undecided what it’s…and hoped you may share your knowledgeable perception
Darryl
May you please present me a more in-depth photograph of this leaf?
Darryl
Thanks for the images. Your plant positively has a thrips infestation:
- The rusty brown patches and tough leaf texture is the harm brought on by thrips consuming away on the leaf floor and laying eggs into the leaf tissue.
- The slender black insect is an grownup thrips:
Right here’s my detailed article on treating thrips.
In your particular plant, I feel it will be value contemplating chopping the plant again (on the white line) to rid your self of probably the most closely infested leaves – the purple x’s (appears like a lot of the ones close to the highest – the most recent leaves).
Good luck!
